Sonic Bliss 25-41 (Oct 12)

Sonic Bliss #25-41
October 12, 2025

This is the end of the Spotify playlists.  I know Daniel Ek recently "stepped down" from day-to-day operations, but I can't support it.  They could easily have given artists a GOOD and a FAIR royalty and still made billions.  They just chose to be greedy.  Ek once claimed it costs nothing to make music.  That's maybe the most absurd thing regarding music that I've ever heard.  That's even more absurd than someone once saying Nickleback is good.

  1. I totally understand and respect that stance on Spotify. Will you still be posting the playlists as regular text on here? (Hoping!)

  2. Yes. We're using You Tube Music. I hope it works for you. Please let me know if it does. I am sure they don't give the artists what they should in royalties, but, to my knowledge, nobody involved with YTM has said musicians spend nothing to make their music like Ek said.

  3. And I am aware that Ek "stepped down" from running Spotify, but he's still very involved in it.
